“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Adventure Club

Who: Kindergarten – 3rd grade

When:  1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 7-8:30 pm

Where: Immanuel Church, Bellmawr (Fellowship Hall)

What Is It Like? In Adventure Club, children are introduced to the Bible through a children’s devotional along with a specific Bible verse. The children are encouraged to memorize the Bible verse. After the lesson, the kids enjoy a snack which is followed by an extended game time.

Adventure Club is more than an excellent teaching ministry. It encourages our youth to build friendships with other children that will continue for many years. Furthermore, it’s an important portal into the other youth ministries of the church, and it helps to cement the children into the church itself. Because the promises of the gospel extend to our children as well (Acts 2:39), we view them as a vital part of the covenant community.

Branch

Who: 4th-8th Graders

When: 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 7-8:30 pm

Where: Immanuel Church, Bellmawr (Old Sanctuary)

What Is It Like? In Branch, the kids are introduced to the foundation truths of the Christian faith through an ongoing study of the Shorter Catechism. The kids start their time with a period of games and activities, then cool down with a snack and their lesson on the catechism question.

Our goal is to draw grade school youth into relationship with each other, and with the church, through games, events, and biblical instruction.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Crossroads

Who: 8th-12th Graders

When: 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 7-8:30 pm

Where: Church Annex at 1008 Market St.

What Is It Like? The high school youth gather together for fellowship and sometimes a lesson that challenges them to think critically about their faith and how to engage the culture with truth and compassion.

“The Lord said to his people: “You are standing at the crossroads. So consider your path. Ask where the old, reliable paths are. Ask where the path is that leads to blessing and follow it. If you do, you will find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16

*Please Note – One of our top priorities at Immanuel is the safety of your children and ours. With the exception of those approved by the church elders, everyone working with youth is required to be a member of Immanuel Church. Furthermore, all youth workers have been checked against the national sex offender registry and have passed national criminal background checks.
